Dublin Sketchers are a loose collection who gather every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different location each week. Check here on a Friday to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a chat/coffee/drink. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.
Sunday 20 January - IMMA at the National Concert Hall
This Sunday we are going to meet at The National Concert
Hall (on Earlsfort Terrace) where The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) has
its temporary premises.
There is an interesting exhibition at IMMA at the moment by Irish Artist Alice Maher from Tipperary.It includes painting, sculpture, photography and animation and is
well worth checking out.(More details
). IMMA provides a free 30 minute
guided tour on at 2.30pm on a Sunday afternoon.If you can drag yourself away from your sketching, you might be
interested in this.There’s no need to
book the tour.
