Dublin Sketchers are a loose collection who gather every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different location each week. Check here on a Friday to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a chat/coffee/drink. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.
This Sunday we'll meet at 2pm at the entrance to the Chester Beatty library in Dublin Castle. There is a 50% chance of rain but if it holds off people can draw around the grounds of the castle. The castle coffee shop beside the state apartments is also a good spot with a great view overlooking the Dubhlinn garden in front of the Chester Beatty.
If you've not been before, you'll spot us easily as we'll be holding our sketch pads. Don't worry if you're late - just get stuck in with the drawing.
We'll meet again at the entrance to the Chester Beatty museum at 4pm before going on up to the new castle coffee shop (Not the Silk Road Café inside the Chester Beatty but the one up the ramp from the Dubhlinn Garden) for coffee and chat and the usual exchange of notebooks.
