More from Chester Beatty

The rain divided the group for coffee - some enjoyed the Chester Beatty Cafe, while others were over in Dublin Castle Coffee shop. At least we have the blog to enjoy each other's work!

On Sunday 28th July Chester Beatty Library and Dublin Castle Grounds

This Sunday we'll meet at 2pm at the entrance to the Chester Beatty library in Dublin Castle. There is a 50% chance of rain but if it holds off people can draw around the grounds of the castle. The castle coffee shop beside the state apartments is also a good spot with a great view overlooking the Dubhlinn garden in front of the Chester Beatty.

If you've not been before, you'll spot us easily as we'll be holding our sketch pads. Don't worry if you're late - just get stuck in with the drawing.

We'll meet again at the entrance to the Chester Beatty museum at 4pm before going on up to the new castle coffee shop (Not the Silk Road CafĂ© inside the Chester Beatty but the one up the ramp from the Dubhlinn Garden) for coffee and chat and the usual exchange of notebooks.

Hope to see you there!

Sketches from Henrietta Street and Kings Inn

Glorious day in Dublin's oldest Georgian Street, and some of us popped into the Tenement Experience at Number 14. One of us found some greenery!
