Dublin Sketchers get together every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different place each week. Check here before hand to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a drink and chat. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.

Something very Hindu-mystic-like about the pose and the blue colouring - I like it a lot.
I saw this in the flesh and I have to agree the blue is very calming and mystic like against the red background - well said Ciaran-L - the figure is cool while all around is hot/turbulent/ A claustrophobic red physical against her airy breathy blue spiritual/ feels as if maybe even a kind of nirvana is being reached.

I like your thoughts James and Ciaran! The model was was very calm and balanced in this pose... in a crowded classroom. So this is how I was seeing her.
