On Sunday the 23rd November 2014 Dublin
Sketchers are going to CITY
ASSEMBLY HOUSE, SOUTH WILLIAM STREET, DUBLIN 2,
There is an RHA members drawing exhibition
showing in this old Gerogian building. The Powerscourt Town House is beside the City
assembly house and this could be another option for drawing. There are some great street scenes to draw in
the area, if you feel up to braving the cold.
The weather forecast for Sunday is to be dry and sunny.
We'll meet at 2pm at the entrance of City assembly
house.

You can also check out the RHA
gallery website
From 4pm, we'll gather for a coffee at J Grogans,
Castle Lounge for a chat and have a chance to see each other’s drawings. Grogans is on 15 South William Street,
opposite the City Assembly house, so you won’t have far to walk!
Here's another website www.powerscourtcentre.ie/
This week's optional challenge is to draw a scene
from an unusual angle.
If you haven't been before keep your eyes open for
anyone carrying a sketch book and come and say hello. Don't worry if you're
late, most of us usually are! Just get
stuck in and draw.
Looking forward to seeing you there
Aideen.
