This is lovely Lucky Fish. Very dream like, are you familiar with magic realism, where elements of the everyday are often interwoven with fantasy and magical imagery but presented as if it is all quite normal e.g. the girl shows no surprise at floating away over the city yet if it happened for real you could imagine her showing more emotion. Is she supposed to be a tiny person?
Thank you! I had to look up "magic realism" in google. There are many books by Latin American writers in this style that I like a lot for example Julio Kortazar, however I do not know many examples in art so I used to think of my drawings as surreal. This is indeed a closer term! This girl is supposed to be a small person (probably about my size) who is dreaming of flying. :)
This reminds me of Marc Chagall. I'm sure you know about him, but if not, he's worth 'googling'. He has a number of beautiful dreamy pictures with people and even animals floating in the sky over houses or over a village. Check out 'A Promenade' by Chagall for example. His colours too are awesome. Well done, Lucky Fish.
Oh yes, I know Marc Chagall! He is wonderful! Goats playing violins, flying people .. he has very fascinating compositions.Thank you for comparing me to him.
