Sunday the 23rd of April - Experience Japan Festival at Phoenix Park

 Some sketches from earlier today

On Sunday the 23rd of April, Dublin Sketchers are going to the Experience Japan Festival which is happening in the beautiful surrounds of Farmleigh in Phoenix Park.
There is a shuttle bus that goes from Parkgate Street (the main entrance to the park, stop 7078) and leaves you at the festival.

The starting point is at 2 pm besides the Martial Arts Stage located in the middle of the Festival Area. Here is a map of the Festival: Experience Japan map

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone who looks like a sketcher at 2 pm, just choose something to draw and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. New people come along almost every week so don't be shy about introducing yourself.  It's a nice friendly gathering and you'll get to know us over coffee from 4 pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

From 4 pm we'll gather for coffee at the Nancy Hands Pub & Restaurant  www.nancyhands.ie (it's very close to the Phoenix Park’s main entrance, on Parkgate street). We have tables booked for Dublin sketchers there. A bunch of people who look like Sketchers will magically appear.

Hope to see you there!
