Sun 13 October Chester Beatty Library and Dame Street

On Sunday the 13th October Dublin Sketchers will sketch around
Chester Beatty Library and Dame Street from 2pm and
meet for drinks at 4pm in the coffee shop in Dublin Castle
(which you can get to from the ramp / bridge from the gardens
in front of Chester Beatty Library).

Interesting stuff to sketch in Chester Beatty,
the atrium is a challenge to capture, the gardens
are great to sketch if the weather is good or head out onto
Dame Street / Parliament Street if you are aching for a
streetscape to capture. Chez Max has a lovely heated terrace
with great views, but be sure buy a drink and smoke a gitanes
if you settle there for a while.

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose
something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone
carrying a sketchbook and say hello. We're a friendly bunch who you’ll
get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late,
most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

Hope to see you there!
