Help Needed

Dublin Sketchers has been going almost ten years and works because of a simple formula of someone choosing the weekly location and coffee shop for the meet up afterwards, and a constellation of sketchers turning up and ....sketching.

Can you help make it happen? We are looking for people to organise a month of locations and share the information via this website, a mailing list and Facebook.

There's a tradition that each week, people's sketches are photographed and put on the blog. Would you like to help with that? Again, it would be nice to have a different person each month.

If you want to help out please email dublinsketchers at gmail dot com saying which month you can do and whether its locations or photography. We can then send you information on how to do it.

Sunday sketches from Aran Islands

After a hearty breakfast, we explored the west side of the Island, bumping into old friends and getting lost among the dry stone walls.

Saturday in the West

On Saturday, we spread out across the Island to discover ruined castles and churches, sea scapes, romantic hideaways, stunning skies.... and the pub.
