Sunday 11th May

On Sunday, 11th May, we'll be sketching around St. Michan's park in Little Britain Street, and around Capel Street from 2pm, and meet for drinks at 4pm in The Black Sheep, 61 Capel Street.

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

From 4pm, we'll gather for a drink and to enjoy each other’s sketches at The Black Sheep. A bunch of sketchers will magically appear.

Sunday 4th May

On Sunday 4th May, we will sketch along the Liffey river in a special sketching event as part of Urban Sketching Week. Paying our tribute to 'Anna Livia', Dublin's main artery, we'll start from 11:00 at the Diving Bell, and make our way west and eventually south. You can follow the Google map here.
The route and suggested times:
(1) 11:00 - Diving Bell
(2) 11:45 - Samuel Beckett Bridge or the Tropical Warehouse
(3) 12:30 - cross northwards to the Scherzer rolling bridge lifts or the famine memorial
(4) 13:15 - Lunch break (bring your own, meet around CHQ)
(5) 14:00 - Custom House
(6) 14:45 - O'Connell Bridge
(7) 15:40 - Trinity College

At 4 pm we'll gather for a drink and to share our sketches at Tapped on Nassau street. A bunch of sketchers will magically appear.
