Sunday 8th January - National Gallery, Turner Exhibition

Hi all,

Really hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year!! I'm sure you are all itching to get back to the sketchpads so this Sunday we will visit the annual Turner exhibition in the National Gallery.

Turner: A Light in the Darkness is complemented by a display of silhouettes and miniatures from the Mary A. McNeill Bequest (1985) which includes works by John Comerford, Richard Crosse, Henry Bone and Nathaniel Hone the Elder.
We will meet at the usual time of 2pm, inside the new entrance off of Nasseau Street, just by the cafe in the atrium. That way if anyone needs to get rid of bags/coats etc. they can.

We will meet again for coffees at 4pm :)

Looking forward to it - if you'd like to see some more info - here's the link!

See you then,

Tracy

Also - there's a lecture at 3:00 on Turner ("Romanticism in Blake, Constable and Turner") in the lecture room at the National Gallery, in case anyone is interested!
