After that, at 4pm, we'll meet at the IFI Café (6 Eustace St, Temple Bar near Meeting House Square).
If this is your first time out and you can’t spot anyone who looks like a sketcher at 2pm don't worry: all you need to do is to choose something to draw and get stuck in. You might see, at some point, people carrying a sketchbook. New people come along almost every week so don't be shy about introducing yourself. It's a nice friendly gathering and you'll get know us over coffee from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
Dublin Sketchers get together every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different place each week. Check here before hand to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a drink and chat. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.

SUNDAY 25 SEPTEMBER - ST STEPHENS GREEN
Hello all,
On Sunday 25 September Dublin Sketchers are
meeting at St Stephens Green, Dublin
2.
The starting
point is 2pm at the Fields
of Battle, Lands of Peace photographic exhibition on the Northern side of
the park. This is a major outdoor
photographic exhibition, which tells of the healed scars of the First World
War. It might provide inspiration to
some of our sketchers.

If you don’t see any sketchers at 2pm, don’t
worry … and if you’re late you won’t be the only one. It’s Sunday afternoon and we’re not famous
for our punctuality. Just get started
and keep your eyes open for others.
At 4pm we will
meet at the O’Callaghan Stephens Green Hotel at the South
West corner of the park (5 Harcourt Street)
Dublin Sketchers is FREE – just bring your own
drawing materials.
Hope to see you there.

Sunday 18 September - Royal Hibernian Academy
Hello all,
On Sunday 18 September Dublin Sketchers are
meeting at The Royal Hibernian Acedemy, Ely
Place, Dublin 2.
There are three new exhibitions starting this
month in the RHA which might be of interest.
(Unlike the other galleries in Dublin, the RHA do not provide chairs for
visitors. There are some benches, or you
can stand or sit on the floor, but if you can bring your own stool it can make
drawing a little easier)
The starting
point is inside the gallery at 2pm. If you can’t find any sketchers at that time
don’t worry … and if you’re late you won’t be the only one. It’s Sunday afternoon and we’re not famous
for our punctuality. Just get started
and keep your eyes open for others.
At 4pm we will
meet at the RHA Coffee Shop for refreshments and conversation.
New people come along almost every week so don't be shy about introducing
yourself.
Dublin Sketchers is FREE – just bring your own
drawing materials.
Hope to see you there.
