29th January sketching in The Brazen Head Pub from 2pm and meet at 4pm in one of their back rooms.

It's Trad Fest!

On Sunday the 29th of January Dublin Sketchers will sketch in The Brazen Head Pub from 2pm and meet for coffee / pint / drinks at 4pm in one of their back rooms, which are typically less busy.

Please remember to spend some money if you are sketching all afternoon in the pub! They serve food.

This week's optional challenge is to draw a musician or incorporate a tune into your sketch.

It's due to rain on Sunday, but if not, there's always the quay, Christ Church cathedral or the remains of the viking settlement, oh, I mean Dublin City Council offices....to sketch outside.

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone who looks like a sketcher at 2pm, just choose something to draw and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. New people come along almost every week so don't be shy about introducing yourself.  It's a nice friendly gathering and you'll get know us over coffee from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

From 4pm, we'll gather for a pint / cup of tea coffee in one of the back rooms, which are typically less busy. A bunch of people who look like sketchers will magically appear.

Hope to see you there!
