Dublin Sketchers will be out and about round the Bord Gais Energy Theatre on Sunday 9th September from 2pm. We'll then meet in the Ferryman Pub on Sir John Rogerson's Quay from 4pm for a drink and to check out each other's work.
The area has loads of great architecture - from the Theatre, to Bowland's Mill, to various renovations of old buildings and some modern buildings thrown up too. Also an old industrial chimney hidden round the back. Or there's the dock itself and then the River Liffey near the pub. The area has a buzz on Sunday, so plenty of opportunity for people spotting.
If you've not been before, bring along your own sketch book / paper and whatever you like to draw / sketch with (pens, pencils, ink, markers etc). Pick some thing to sketch and get stuck in. If you spot a sketcher, wander over and say hello. We all meet up in the pub from 4pm.
