Dublin Sketchers get together every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different place each week. Check here before hand to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a drink and chat. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.

Sun 19 June sketch at Smithfield Fleadh
Sun 19 June - Dublin Sketchers will be at Smithfield Square from 2pm for sketching the Smithfield Fleadh (details on internet) and meet at 4pm in Bonobo at 119 Church Street Upper, Inns Quay, Dublin 7, D07 E128 - there’s loads of room in the outside space at the back.
If it’s your first time out, pick something to sketch and get stuck in. Say hello to anyone who looks like a sketcher. You’ll meet everyone in the pub at 4pm, we’re a friendly bunch with different people coming along each week.
Bring your own sketching implements and paper / sketchbook.

On Sun 12 June we’ll sketch around Merrion Square for the snappily titled Dublin’s Heritage Buildings Show as there will be loads going on to watch and sketch. Free entry into some Georgian buildings too.

Sun 5 June Dublin Sketchers around Sandycove harbour and Joyce Martello tower
Hi all,
From 2pm on Sunday 5 June the sketchers are going to the James Joyce museum at the Sandycove Martello Tower. There are nice views round about including the Forty Foot bathing place and Sandycove Harbour and small beach. Plenty of activity usually with swimmers and people milling about.
At 4pm we can all meet up at nearby Fitzgeralds of Glasthule Pub, Albert House,11 Sandycove Road, Sandycove, Dún Laoghaire, IE A96WE09.
If you haven’t been out before, just get stuck in to your sketching and say hello to anyone with a sketch book. Bring your own equipment. You’ll meet everyone in the pub from 4pm.
