Dublin Sketchers get together every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different place each week. Check here before hand to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a drink and chat. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.

17th of July - St Anne’s Park
On Sunday the 17th of July,Dublin Sketchers will sketch in St Anne’s Park, Clontarf from 2pm where the Rose Festival will be on and we will meet from 4pm beside the Red Stables. The Meetup will probably be picnic style on the grass so if you have a blanket to sit on or a folding chair or stool, then it might be a good week to bring them.
If you are getting public transport from town, the 130 is probably the best option and is about every 15 minutes from Abbey Street and there is a stop opposite the Red Stables entrance to the park. If driving, the car park beside the Red Stables is closed. There will be parking available with entrance from Sybil Hill Rd for €5.

Sunday, 10th July, Bridgefoot Street Park
On Sunday the 10th July, Dublin Sketchers will sketch in and around Bridgefoot Street Park from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm in the Brazen Head Pub.
The park only recently opened so here is a Google Maps link to show location.

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

Sunday 3rd July 2022 - IMMA - Royal Hospital Kilmainham
3rd July 2022- IMMA
On Sunday the 3rd July, Dublin Sketchers will sketch in and around IMMA, also known as Royal Hospital Kilmainham from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm in the cafe located in the basement of Imma which is accessed via the courtyard. If you haven’t been to IMMA before, it’s about 10 minutes walk from Heuston train station.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello.
