On Sunday the 3rd July, Dublin Sketchers will sketch in and around IMMA, also known as Royal Hospital Kilmainham from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm in the cafe located in the basement of Imma which is accessed via the courtyard. If you haven’t been to IMMA before, it’s about 10 minutes walk from Heuston train station.

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

If you would like your sketch to be added to the website, email it to dublinsketchers @ gmail .com or post it to the Dublin Sketchers Social WhatsApp group if you are on that. Please edit your image so that it is low res and properly oriented for posting to the website.

Sunday 21st June 2pm till 5pm IMMA main entrance meetup with WALK group

Good suggestion Stephen and I would be happy to do the street performers except that the WALK group have got back to me and are up for a sketching session in and around the grounds of IMMA from 2pm til 5pm (note the slightly different time everyone) and meetup after at cafe at 5pm for usual chat and coffee, although if you fancy bring a packed lunch we might do a picnic thing also. Enjoyed the day in IMMA, two sketches from the Calder Jewelry Exhib. mostly hammered brass and silver wire, amazing designs, and the video of the Artists Studio was like a scene from Pinocchio's workshop, brilliant! Also a sketch from the cafe, and a sculpture in the grounds.
