Sunday 15th August - Dundrum

On Sunday 15th August from 2pm Dublin Sketchers will draw out and about in Dundrum. There are many options to choose from including, Dundrum Library, Saint Nahi's Church and Cemetery, William Dargan Bridge, both old and new buildings along the Main Street, The Old Shopping Centre, Holy Cross Church, Dundrum Town Centre, or if you prefer to sketch in your own location.

There are many seating areas and places to grab a coffee along the way.

However, rather than meeting in a cafe or pub,we'll gather outside Dundrum Library, Dundrum Road R117 at 4pm. Remember to observe Covid rules

If it's your first time, just come along with your materials and paper. Say hello to any fellow sketcher you see. Don't worry if you're late, we usually are!

On Sunday 8th August, from 2pm Dublin Sketchers will draw out and about in the Public Park located between Clonmel Street and Upper Hatch Street near the National Concert Hall (or sketch in your own location) Weather dependant. Another option is to sketch in nearby Harcourt Street or Camden Street where there are lots of cafes to choose from to shelter. (The garden's gate on Clonmel St. leads to Harcourt St).

However, rather than meeting in a cafe or pub, we'll gather at the fountain in the gardens (see picture above) at 4pm. Remember to observe Covid Rules.

If its you first time, just come along with your materials and paper. Say hello to any fellow sketcher you see. Don't worry if you're late, we usually are!

Sunday 1 August - Blackrock

On Sunday 1st August from 2pm Dublin Sketchers will draw out and about in Blackrock (or sketch in your own location)

With the opening of indoor dining this week I still would prefer (weather permitting) to sit outside and watch the world go by, I wonder if many of you feel the same way(perfect opportunity to sketch) With that in mind I thought Blackrock a great location as I counted 12 coffee shops with lots of outside seating in the main street.

However, rather than meeting in a cafe or pub,we'll gather at the main gate of Blackrock Park, at 4pm. Remember to observe Covid rules
