Lovely sketch, Coilin, and nice composition. I take it that the angle it's at just happens to be the way the photo came out - but it makes a really nice picture.

Thanks for all the encouraging comments here and on Sunday. It was a bit tricky and tedious, but well worth doing for the enjoyment of sharing with others. I drew it on the diagonal, as an experiment - and otherwise it would have been a much smaller drawing. Alas, there is no way to tilt the picture here on the blog the way you can tilt a sketch pad in the pub. And the pencil lines didn't come out as sharply as ink would under the flash. But it's the learning process and the live sharing that count.
