Sunday May 10th – ‘A Bridge Too Far’

This Sunday May 10th 2020, we will be sketching from the safety of our own homes.
Sketching will start at approximately 2pm and finish at 4pm.

Eighteen bridges span the river Liffey from the sea to Heuston railway station.
Choose one you like.

Stone, cast iron, steel and concrete, from the classical Roman masonry arched to
the ultra-modern. There is of course the most beloved of all, the Ha’penny bridge,
very much a symbol of the city.

Dublin City Council has a posted a new website at

If you would like your sketch to be added to the website, email it to  or post it to the Dublin Sketchers Social Whats App group if you are on that. Please edit your image so that it is low res and properly oriented for posting to the website.
