Sunday 20 January - IMMA at the National Concert Hall

This Sunday we are going to meet at The National Concert Hall (on Earlsfort Terrace) where The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) has its temporary premises.

There is an interesting exhibition at IMMA at the moment by Irish Artist Alice Maher from Tipperary.  It includes painting, sculpture, photography and animation and is well worth checking out.  (More details at http://www.imma.ie/en/page_212499.htm ).  IMMA provides a free 30 minute guided tour on at 2.30pm on a Sunday afternoon.  If you can drag yourself away from your sketching, you might be interested in this.  There’s no need to book the tour.

If the weather is good, there is also an outdoor option, as the beautiful Iveagh Gardens are accessible from the grounds of the concert hall.

We'll meet at 2pm at the main entrance to the National Concert Hall.

If you're new to Dublin Sketchers, you'll spot us easily as we'll be holding our sketchpads. Don't worry if you're late - just get stuck in with the drawing

We'll meet again at 4pm at the same place and decide where to go for coffee.

Hope to see you there.
