On Sunday 8th November from 2pm, we'll take our sketchbooks and dry materials on an adventure round some of the galleries participating in the Dublin Gallery Weekend.
We'll meet from 4pm in The Duke Pub on Duke Street to share tales of our gallery adventures and to check out each other's sketchbooks.
The suggestion is to explore galleries between Trinity College, Stephen's Green and Merrion Square. Here's a list of them:
Oliver Sears Gallery, Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts, Irish Architectural Archive, National Gallery of Ireland, Taylor Galleries, Molesworth Gallery, Kerlin Gallery, Douglas Hyde Gallery of Contemporary Art, Solomon Fine Art, So Fine Art Editions.
You might want to focus on the exterior of the galleries, the artwork on show, or other visitors looking at the art.
Please be considerate if sketching inside the galleries - they don't know that we're on tour, so just chat with someone to make sure it's OK (NGI and RHA you don't need to ask).
Top marks if you visit all 10 galleries listed above.
You can use their map to find locations, or Google maps will have them as well.

Details of the full weekend are at https://dublingalleryweekend.ie/
You might want to go on a gallery tour on Friday night, and enjoy the free refreshments!
If it's your first time out sketching, pick a gallery or two from the list above, choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Bring your own materials, say hello to anyone else with a sketchbook, and be considerate of other people visiting the galleries.
