On Sunday the 10th of November Dublin Sketchers will sketch at the Smock Alley Theatre, on 7 Exchange Street Lower in Temple Bar, from 2pm to 4pm and meet for drinks at 4pm in Lundy Foot's (former Czech Inn) at Essex Gate.
The Smock Alley Theatre will open the doors of the Banquet Hall for us, so we will be free to sketch in this room (one room only, this time). No performances will be happening, but there are lovely stained glass windows and an ornate ceiling to draw.
Feel free to sketch both inside or outside the theatre.
I would suggest you to bring your own foldable seat (if you have any) as there aren't many places to sit in the room.
Should you be late, just mention at the Box Office that you are a sketcher and they will show you the way!

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
