On Sunday 25th September, Dublin Sketchers will sketch at TEFL Square near La Touche Bridge over the Grand Canal from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm at Blackbird pub, 82 - 84 Rathmines Road Lower.
What is unusual about this Sunday is that an Austrian TV company are coming to film Dublin Sketchers. It's possible that they might want to chat with you about sketching and film you and your sketches. If you traveled and sketched along the Great Journey South, do please bring your sketches / sketch books. Obviously, it's fine if you don't want to be filmed, just say so.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
