Everyone welcome. Bring your own sketching gear and just sketch what you want. You'll meet everyone everyone in the pub from 4pm.
Dublin Sketchers get together every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different place each week. Check here before hand to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a drink and chat. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.

On Sun 29th December, we'll be sketching around the National Archeology Museum on Kildare Street (National Library close by, Stephen's Green a short stroll away) from 2pm and then meet from 4pm in The Duke pub on Duke Street.

Sunday 22 December - Festive experience at Smithfield
This Sunday from 2pm we will be sketching in and around the brand new festive experience at Smithfield Square, with lots of opportunities to sketch at the Ice rink, Ice museum, Christmas Market and Big Wheel. Meeting from 4pm at The Generator to chat and show our sketches

Sunday 15 December - Grand Canal Dock area
On Sunday the 15th of December, Dublin Sketchers will sketch in the Grand Canal Dock area from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm at the Ferryman (35 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 E448).
A few areas of interest for sketchers:
- The Samuel Beckett’s bridge
- Grand Canal Quay and its red sticks designed by Daniel Libeskind
- Pearse Square Park and its Georgian houses
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
From 4pm, we'll gather for a drink and to enjoy each other’s sketches at The Hill pub. A bunch of sketchers will magically appear.

Please edit your image so that it is low res and properly oriented for posting to the website. If you are posting your sketch on Instagram please #dublinsketchers #urbansketchers
