26th of October - O'Connell Street

On Sunday the 26th of October, Dublin Sketchers will sketch at O'Connell Street from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm in the Gresham Hotel, 23 O'Connell Street Upper, North City, Dublin, D01C3W7.

This Sunday, Samhain on O’Connell Street will transform Dublin’s main thoroughfare into a lively Halloween celebration, filled with spooky games, street performances, striking props, and festive décor from around 1 pm to 6 pm. The free event, organized by Dublin City Council, invites people to experience the ancient spirit of Samhain in a creative and atmospheric way at the heart of the city.

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

From 4pm, we'll gather for a drink and to enjoy each other’s sketches at the Gresham Hotel. A bunch of sketchers will magically appear.
