Dublin Sketchers get together every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different place each week. Check here before hand to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a drink and chat. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.
On Sunday 11th January, Dublin Sketchers will sketch at the Chester Beatty (or surrounding areas), located in the historic grounds of Dublin Castle, D02 AD92. The museum houses an incredible collection of rare manuscripts and global decorative arts - plenty of inspiration to go around! Information on how to get to Chester Beatty is available here.
It’s forecast to be about 6°C midday with a high chance of rain. With the wind chill, it will feel colder!
We will meet up at 4pm at The Long Hall, 51, South Great George's Street, Dublin 2, D02 DV74, a 7 minute walk from Chester Beatty.
If it’s your first time, please come say hello—we are a friendly bunch! Just bring your own materials and look out for people with sketchbooks.
On Sunday 4th January, Dublin Sketchers will sketch around the Dental Hospital, Lincoln Place, Dublin, D02 F859.
It’s forecast to be around 4°C, but with the wind chill, it will feel colder! For those who prefer to sketch indoors, the National Gallery of Ireland is just around the corner and is currently hosting the J.M.W. Turner watercolour exhibition.
We will meet up at 4pm at The Lincoln's Inn, 19 Lincoln Pl, Dublin, just next door to the Dental Hospital.
If it’s your first time, please come say hello—we are a friendly bunch! Just bring your own materials and look out for people with sketchbooks.
