Merrion Street Artists Celebrations - 2pm Sunday 30th

Hello all!

This week the Dublin Sketchers are heading for Merrion Square where the Merrion Street Artists are celebrating 25 years on Merrion Square and having a street party! Inside the Square the Dublin City Soul Festival is taking place, so that should also prove interesting.

There will be artists demonstrations, face painting and more.

Everybody is welcome, if you haven't been sketching with us before, please just have a sketch pad out and the group will spot you.

Meet at 2pm, at the gate opposite the entrance to the National Gallery. Meet up at 4pm at the same spot - most likely go to the National Gallery Cafe for coffee!

Hope you all enjoy, I won't be there myself as I am off to Co. Clare!

Unfortunately St. Michan's is closed on a Sunday which is a pity - so Merrion Square seemed like a lively spot for this Sunday!

We'll have to organise the odd not on a Sunday session to include the likes of Michans sometime.

Might be inspiring for last minute ideas in Merrion - it's ages since I had a look at what folks are doing there.
