Dublin Sketchers are a loose collection who gather every Sunday afternoon in Dublin to sketch. We go to a different location each week. Check here on a Friday to see where we are off to. Come along if you fancy it! We start sketching from 2pm and meet at 4pm for a chat/coffee/drink. We are part of the global Urban Sketchers community.
This week's challenge is to use red or feature an animal from the Chinese Zodiac.
2014 is the year of the horse, and The Gallery will be exhibiting art featuring horses
If you've not been before, you'll spot us easily as we'll be holding our sketch pads. Don't worry if you're late - just get stuck in with the drawing.
We'll meet again at 4pm at The Candy Cafe, 1 Nth Frederick Street for a coffee. We'll enjoy looking at each other's sketch pads over a drink.
A couple of people each week kindly photograph everyone's work to put on the blog. Please help them out by PUTTING YOUR NAME on your sketch book or on EACH sketch you do! If you've got a camera and fancy helping out with photographing folks work - just get snapping on Sundays! You can either post them on www.dublinsketchers.com or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org someone else can post them for you.
