This Sunday
we are going to visit the Hugh Lane Gallery in Parnell Square.
The Hugh Lane
has a number of special exhibitions on show at the moment, including one
entitled “Revolutionary States – Home Rule & Modern Ireland” which might be
of interest. If the weather holds up,
we can wander across to the Garden Of Remembrance, which includes the beautiful
Children of Lir sculpture. (If anyone
is interested in coming a little early, there is a free concert in the sculpture
gallery beginning at 12noon. See http://www.hughlane.ie/sunday-concerts
for more details)
We'll meet
at 2pm at the entrance to the Hugh Lane Gallery.
If you're new to Dublin Sketchers, you'll spot us easily as we'll be holding our sketchpads. Don't worry if you're late - just get stuck in with the drawing
We'll meet again at 4pm at the same place to go for a coffee (probably at the café in the Gallery) and to enjoy looking at each other's sketchpads.
Hope to see
you there.
