On Sunday the 20th of June, the Dublin Sketchers will be meeting at Ringsend to sketch some old buildings, such as the library and St. Patricks church etc. Please adhere to the covid rules and regulations when we meet at 4:00 at Brewdog!
Ringsend Library |
St. Patricks Church |
Brewdog where we'll meet after and hopefully get a place to sit |
You can travel to Ringsend(Library area) by bus or by dart, the nearest station is Landsdowne road dart station and is 15 minutes walk.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm in Brewdog, which is 10 minutes walk from where we will be sketching. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
From 4pm, we'll gather for a drink at, while respecting covid regulations and the 2 metre rule at Brewddog, which is a 10 minute walk from the sketching location.
This week's optional challenge is to: Enjoy sketching old buildings!
If you would like your sketch to be added to the website, email it to dublinsketchers @ gmail .com or post it to the Dublin Sketchers Social WhatsApp group if you are on that. Please edit your image so that it is low res and properly oriented for posting to the website.
Hope to see you there!
