On Sunday 3rd September 2023, Dublin Sketchers will sketch around Bullock Harbour from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm at Fitzgeralds of Sandycove (11 Sandycove Road, Sandycove, Dublin, A96 WE09).
Bullock Harbour is a beautiful little harbour located just outside Dalkey with a lot of colourful buildings and boats. Other interesting sketching spots in the area include the Forty Foot in Sandycove, Sandycove beach and the James Joyce Tower Museum.
To get there using public transport, you can get off at Sandycove & Glasthule or at Dalkey DART stations and walk 10-15 minutes.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! Please bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
