On Sunday 25th August we will draw from 2pm on Adelaide Road, the most notable building being The Royal Victoria Eye and Ear Hospital. There are also interesting side streets such as Harcourt Terrace and Leeson Place, and the kiosk at the junction with Leeson Street. We will meet from 4pm in the Weatherspoons in Keavan’s Port Hotel on Camden Street Upper for drinks and to share our sketches.
I checked with the security in the hospital and they said it's ok to sketch on the grass area inside the fence, so long as we don't damage the grass or the flowers (I'm not sure what heavy equipment they thought we might have, but I reassured them we'd just be sketching).
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Royal Eye and Ear HospitalIf it's your first time out and you can't spot anyone at 2pm, don't worry: just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes out for anyone carrying a sketchpad and say hello; we're a friendly crowd, and you'll get to chat to us in the pub later. You'll need to bring your own sketching materials.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
