On Sunday 11th August we will draw from 2pm in Blackrock Village. As well as some beautiful old buildings on Main Street (including the Carnegie Library, pictured) there is the Blackrock Market through the arch, also on Main Street, and the People's Park if the weather is nice (forecast not great, unfortunately). There is access to the sea just up from the DART station.
We will meet in The Wicked Wolf from 4pm for drinks and to share our sketches.
Blackrock can be accessed by from the city centre by bus numbers 4 and 7, or by DART (Blackrock station).
If it's your first time out and you can't spot anyone at 2pm, don't worry: just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes out for anyone carrying a sketchpad and say hello; we're a friendly crowd, and you'll get to chat to us in the pub later. You'll need to bring your own sketching materials.
