Sunday 14 November - Trinity College

On Sunday 14th NovemberDublin Sketchers will sketch around Trinity College from 2pm.

I believe Trinity College has re-opened its doors to the public, so let's rediscover this oasis in the heart of the metropolis!

If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at your arrival, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know when we get together at 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.

Another option if you're in the area is the Irish Yeast Company, a beautiful 18th century building across from the Trinity Luas stop. Another endangered institution in Dublin. It seems to be in disrepair after planning permission was refused to Doyle's pub, after they had bought the property after its owner died in 2018.

Rather than meeting in a pub or coffee shop, we'll gather outdoors to catch up and check out each other's work. At 4pm, we'll meet near the cricket grounds at the back of Trinity College.  In case of rain, there are plenty of cafés nearby. Please keep in mind current government guidelines on Covid.

Please edit your image so that it is low res and properly oriented for posting to the website. If you're on Instagram, use #dublinsketchers #urbansketchers.

See you there!
