On Sunday 24th May, we’ll sketch around Wood Quay in Temple Bar. A Viking archaeological site, the quay overlooks the Liffey, and has interesting visual elements like the submerged viking boat sculpture, Smock Alley theatre, remnants of the ancient city wall, and the Wood Quay amphitheatre park. At 4pm, we’ll get together at the Porterhouse pub on Parliament Street to share our sketches and chat.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
