On Sunday, April 12th, Dublin Sketchers will sketch at Herbert Park / Donnybrook from 2pm and meet for drinks at 4pm in Horse Show House.
As the weather is looking promising, we’re heading to Herbert Park to catch the spring blossom and the Herbert Park Farmers Market. Just nearby, Donnybrook offers a charming village feel, with lovely architecture and a relaxed atmosphere to explore and sketch.
If the weather turns, there are plenty of places to take shelter: Terrace Lounge at Herbert Park Hotel, or nearby cafés around the park and Donnybrook such as Carved, The Art of Coffee, Butlers, Happy Out and others.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
From 4pm, we’ll gather for a drink and to share sketches at Horse Show House.
