On Sunday, April 19th, Dublin Sketchers will sketch at the Fade Street Flea Market (The Market Bar) and surrounding streets from 2pm, and meet for drinks at 4pm in Hogan’s.
This time we’re heading to the Fade Street Flea Market which brings together an eclectic mix of artisan goods, crafts, vintage finds, rare vinyl and unique creations in the heart of Dublin. Known for its lively atmosphere, it offers plenty of scenes to capture. Entry is free, and you’re welcome to wander between the market and the surrounding streets.
If it’s your first time out and you can’t spot anyone at 2pm, just choose something to sketch and get stuck in. Keep your eyes open for anyone carrying a sketchbook and say hello. It's a friendly crowd who you’ll get to know over a drink from 4pm. Don't worry if you're late, most of us usually are! You need to bring your own paper and pens/pencils etc.
From 4pm, we’ll gather for a drink and to share sketches at Hogan’s.
If you would like your sketch to be added to the website, email it to dublinsketchers@gmail.com or post it in the Dublin Sketchers Social WhatsApp group if you are on that. Please edit your image so that it is low res and properly oriented for posting. If you are sharing your sketch on Instagram, please use #dublinsketchers #urbansketchers.
Hope to see you there!
